The wait is almost over for millions of devotees as the sacred Char Dham Yatra 2025 is all set to begin.
The official opening dates for the revered pilgrimage sites for Char Dham Yatra 2025 have been announced, drawing excitement among spiritual travelers from across the country.
Here’s a quick look at the scheduled opening dates:
- Yamunotri Dham: April 30, 2025
- Gangotri Dham: April 30, 2025
- Kedarnath Dham: May 2, 2025
- Badrinath Dham: May 4, 2025
- Hemkund Sahib: May 25, 2025
So far, the response has been overwhelming, with more than 19 lakh registrations already completed. Kedarnath has seen the highest footfall in terms of bookings, with over 6.48 lakh pilgrims gearing up for the journey. Badrinath isn’t far behind, attracting over 5.74 lakh devotees. Meanwhile, both Yamunotri and Gangotri have each crossed the 3 lakh mark, and Hemkund Sahib has received more than 32,000 registrations.
Authorities have urged pilgrims to complete their registrations well in advance and stay updated on the weather and travel advisories. Given the high altitude and unpredictable climate of Char Dham Yatra 2025 adequate preparation will help ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience.
