Chaman Verma, a 20-year-old from Bhattoli, a small village in Masi, Almora district of Uttarakhand, is becoming a social media star with his amazing stunts.
A third-year BA student at Dwarahat College, Chaman has gained popularity for his backflips, high jumps, and super-fast moves—all done without any gym or proper training. His father, Brij Lal Verma, is a driver, and the family lives a simple life in Almora.
What makes Chaman’s journey special is his strong will. He wanted to join the army, but was declared unfit due to a small issue in his leg. Instead of giving up, he turned this rejection into motivation. In just eight months, he built a strong body using homemade tools like bricks, tree branches, and iron bars on his rooftop. His hard work and passion have led people to compare him with Bollywood action stars
In viral videos, Chaman can be seen jumping over groups of people, flipping in the air, and doing tough stunts that even trained experts would find hard. With no access to training centers, Chaman learned by watching videos online and practicing with friends in his village in Almora. Today, his videos get lakhs of views and he has a big fan following on social media.
Chaman believes that with the right coach and proper training, he can do even better. Coming from a far-off village in Uttarakhand, his dream is not just to become successful himself, but also to inspire other children from the hills to chase their dreams, no matter how few resources they have.
