Badrinath Priests Conduct Prayer for India’s Victory and End of Terrorism

Badrinath Dham, Uttarakhand: The revered Badrinath Dham witnessed a unique prayer ceremony organized by the Shri Badrinath Dimri Religious Central Panchayat, the apex body of the Dimri priests of the Badrinath shrine. The community came together to perform a special “havan” (holy fire ritual) dedicated to the eradication of terrorism from its roots and to invoke strength for the brave soldiers of India’s armed forces, as well as for Prime Minister Modi.

The central panchayat’s president, Ashutosh Dimri, vice-president, Bhaskar Dimri, and general secretary, Bhagwati Prasad Dimri, stated that this special prayer, invoking Lord Badri Vishal and Goddess Mahalakshmi, was a heartfelt appeal during these times. They specifically prayed for divine strength to be bestowed upon the courageous soldiers protecting the nation, the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister, and the Home Minister.

The solemn havan ceremony saw the participation of prominent members of the Dimri community, including Bheetla Badwa, Sharad Dimri, the head priest (Havanacharya) Vinay Dimri, Parvesh Dimri, Lakshmi Badwa, Girish Dimri, Sandeep Dimri, Santu Bhai, and Mukesh Dimri, all offering their prayers and oblations into the sacred fire.

This initiative by the priest community underscores their deep concern for national security and their solidarity with the armed forces and the country’s leadership in the fight against terrorism. The prayers offered at the holy abode of Lord Badrinath carry immense significance and reflect the community’s spiritual commitment to the well-being and victory of India.
