Shuttle Service and Parking Arrangements for Visitors to Neem Karoli Baba’s Kainchi Dham from March 26, 2025.

Mrs. Ridhim Aggarwal, the Kumaon Range Inspector General of Police, has checked the traffic arrangements at the Neem Karoli Baba’s Kainchi Dham in Bhowali to manage and, improve the traffic flow to ease congestion for both the visitors and the natives in the area.

Shuttle Service to Start from March 26, 2025

As part of the immediate and long-term measures to streamline vehicular movement, designated parking areas have been identified for visitors to Kainchi Dham. From March 26, 2025, a shuttle service will be implemented for all tourists visiting the temple.

Information about Shuttle Service and Parking.

Tourists via the Haldwani-Bhimtal route have to park their vehicles at the Industrial Area Bhimtal parking lot and then, take the shuttle service to proceed further. Likewise, Tourists via Haldwani-Jyolikot-Bhowali route have to park at the Kainchi Bypass parking area, located 1.5 km from Bhowali Sanatorium, and then proceed via shuttle service.

Shuttle Service Timings

Normally, the shuttle service will operate from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During weekends and festivals, the operating hours will be rescheduled from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Additionally, to ease congestion on these peak days, heavy vehicle movement will be restricted from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Police Advisory for Visitors

Nainital Police requests visitors to plan their trips accordingly and cooperate with authorities to facilitate the new traffic arrangements. Additionally, efforts are being made to implement long-term solutions that will ensure seamless travel for devotees and local residents visiting Kainchi Dham.
